nitrates after heart sugery??

A dear family member had bypass (4/beating heart) surgery on Feb 28, 2006. She is still taking isosorbide mononitrate and lasix. Other friends who experienced the same thing do not have to take nitrates. ?? Should she get a second opinion or is this not unusual? Any help is... Read more Chevron
