nitrates after heart sugery??
A dear family member had bypass (4/beating heart) surgery on Feb 28, 2006. She is still taking isosorbide mononitrate and lasix. Other friends who experienced the same thing do not have to take nitrates. ?? Should she get a second opinion or is this not unusual? Any help is... Read more

Need help
my husband has 6 stents, and in 2007 had a 3 way bypass. He still has pain. He takes pain pills. he has pain patches. none of these seem to work. I see him suffering everyday. I have no clue has what to do. He goes to the cardiology every 3 months. He takes plavix. He took ranexa, but it didn't work. He has symtoms of a heart attack alot.... Read more
