Amazing that this boy survived

A friend of mine saw this ad for Phoenix Children's hospital and found this video about this boy that had severe heart, lung and intestinal complications. UNABLE TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH

I was wondering if anyone has been through not being able to take a full deep satisfying breath?I feel like i am suffocating and hungry for air.Sometimes it comes natural and sometimes i have to keep sighing and yawning to get a full deep breath.Feels like a sensation that i need to.
