Women less likely to get treatment after heart tests

A new study has found that women who have a cardiac stress test are far less likely than men to receive further diagnostic tests, procedures to unblock heart arteries, or medication to lower cholesterol or blood pressure. Researchers plan to study whether less follow-up treatment for women with heart troubles could explain the differences in cardiac disease outcomes in men and women. Read more »
