Hydralazine offers hope for cell damage from spinal cord injuries, strokes

Researchers at Purdue University have found that the pressure medication hydralazine may reverse the cell death caused by traumatic neurologic events, such as spinal cord injuries or strokes. Hydralazine acts as an antidote to acrolein, a destructive toxin released after a nerve cell is injured. Read more »
