Two studies show Crestor's effectiveness against heart disease

Two new studies have demonstrated the cholesterol-lowering drug Crestor's effectiveness in fighting heart disease. In the first study, Crestor's maker announced that a clinical trial on the medication was halted early because it had already showed "unequivocal evidence" that the drug reduces heart attacks, strokes, and deaths due to cardiovascular disease in people with no signs of heart disease.
