British add graphic photos to cigarette packaging

The United Kingdom will begin adding graphic photographs to cigarette packaging to warn about the dangers of smoking. The 15 photos, which include images of a diseased lung, as well as a photo of heart surgery, will replace written warnings that discuss the dangers of smoking. While the United Kingdom is the first European nation to use these images, several other countries, including Canada, Australia, and Brazil, also display the photos on tobacco products. Read more »
