A report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has found that most Americans don't know all the warning signs of a heart attack, nor do enough Americans know what to do when a heart attack occurs. The CDC used data from 71,994 Americans who were asked to identify the five warning signs of a heart attack. Only 31 percent knew all five signs, but most did know that the best course of action when a heart attack is suspected is to call 911.
