Is Congested Heart Failure Considered A Cardiovascular Disease

In a study of more than 34,000 cardiac patients, French researchers
have found that blood-pressure medicines known as ACE inhibitors
not only help with hypertension but also a number of cardiovascular
diseases, including strokes, heart attacks, and congestive heart
failure. Researchers suggest the use of ACE inhibitors for "all
patients with documented coronary artery disease."
