The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a generic
formula of the migraine, hypertension, and atherosclerosis medicine
Inderal-LA. The generic, propranolol hydrochloride ER, will be
available in 60 mg, 80 mg, 120 mg, and 160 mg dosage strengths.
