Risk Of Heart Attack And Stroke For Men And Women

According to a recent study, the number of migraines a woman has in
a week or month may influence her risk for heart attack or stroke.
In a study of 28,000 women, researchers found that women who
experienced less-than-monthly migraines were 54 percent more likely
to develop cardiovascular disease. But while women who suffered
weekly migraines also had an increased risk of heart attack (49
percent higher), they had almost triple the increased risk for
stroke.
