The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is reporting that some propafenone HCL tablets are being recalled. Propafenone HCL is a drug used to treat cardiac arrhythmias. According to drugmaker Watson Pharmaceuticals, some lots of propafenone HCL 225 mg tablets sold in 100-count bottles in the United States are being voluntarily recalled because some tablets might contain slightly higher levels of the active ingredient than specified.
