Using too much salt common in U.S., CDC says

Researchers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that people, on average -- including people with high blood pressure, blacks, and middle-age and older adults--take in 3,436 mg a day of sodium. Most of those people--69 percent--should consume no more than 1,500 mg daily, according to the report.  Read full story >
