Anger takes a toll on the heart: experts

Scientists who reviewed 44 prospective studies in The Journal of the American College of Cardiology have found a strong relationship between anger and both the onset and progression of heart disease. They also found that about 1.5 percent of heart attacks are triggered by intense anger. This connection is a particular problem for Americans, experts say, because they get angry frequently, often to the point of seeking revenge.
