Q&A: Is lisinopril causing my cough?

A reader tells Joe and Teresa Graedon of The People's Pharmacy about a severe cough she is experiencing that she can't ease, despite a number of doctor's visits. The reader takes lisinopril (Prinivil), and she read on the Graedon's site that the blood pressure drug can cause a severe cough. The Graedons respond with information about how ACE inhibitors such as lisinopril can cause a persistent cough, and they offer advice on both stopping the drug and on natural ways to control blood pressure.
