Experimental drug may help tough-to-treat hypertension

A new drug called darusentan has shown promise for treating people with hard-to-treat high blood pressure in a pivotal clinical trial. In the study, the experimental medication helped reduce blood pressure in people who were still hypertensive despite trying three or more medications.
