Adding drug doesn't help blood pressure control: study

People who have heart disease and who already take an ACE inhibitor get no additional help in controlling their blood pressure by adding an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), researchers say. In fact, scientists found that adding the second medication may even be harmful to these patients because of an increased risk of side effects, including fainting.  Read full story >
