Hypertension, Heart Disease Linked to Baldness in Men

According to a number of studies, high blood pressure and heart disease have been linked to baldness in men. In one study, scientists looked at 250 men between the ages of 35 and 65 and found that hypertension was strongly linked to male pattern baldness. Other studies have linked baldness to heart disease, including one that found that men with mild balding of the crown had a 23 percent higher risk for heart disease, and those whose crowns were completely bald had a 36 percent higher risk.  Read full story >
