Aspirin Alone Effective for Preventing Clots a Year After Stenting

Researchers have found that patients who have a stent implanted and who take aspirin alone to prevent clots have the same rates of heart attack and death as people who are given both aspirin and the blood thinner Plavix. In fact, the study's scientists found that the people who took aspirin alone fared slightly better than those who took Plavix.  Read full story >
