At-Home Blood Pressure Monitoring Helps Keep it Low

British researchers say that people who have high blood pressure can control their condition more effectively on their own at home if they undergo proper training. In a recent study, the scientists found that hypertension patients who used telemonitoring of their blood pressure and adjusted their medications according to guidelines agreed upon in advance saw greater reductions in blood pressure than patients receiving standard care.  Read full story >
