Weight More Important for Blood Pressure Than Fitness: Study

According to a new study, people who are trying to bring their blood pressure to healthy levels should pay more attention to losing weight than to becoming more fit. As expected, researchers found that overweight or obese people were more likely to have high systolic blood pressure than those were were not overweight. The scientists also found that whether a person was in shape or not only had a small impact on his or her blood pressure.  Read full story >
