Low-Dose Omega 3 Fatty Acid Do Not Help Heart Patients: Study

Dutch scientists have found that most heart patients who take low-dose omega-3 fatty acid supplements do not appear to get any additional protection from further heart troubles. But the researchers say that their study concentrated on patients who were already on medications to control cholesterol, blood pressure, and potential clotting, and their finding simply reflect the power of the meds in controlling these risk factors.
