How do you use them?
Anytime you're on the site, you can give something a heart as long as you have hearts left to give and you see the heart button.
Running out isn't the end though! Your hearts left to give refreshes daily. Unregistered users get 2 per day, and registered users get 20 per day.
Why?
To have a simple and easy way for people to show that what they've seen has helped them in their lives, and to easily identify what resonates with the community.
