Hello and thanks for your post. I am the moderator for the site and though not medically trained will do my best to help get you answers to your questions.

First, you must speak to your doctor about what to do about sexual or any other side effects you are having from taking medications.

Next, after searching our site, it does seem that many of the drugs used to treat HBP have these kinds of side effects.  However, I was able to find more on this specific question in our Q&A area -  HBP Medications and Impotence.

You also might find more from some of our partner sites on our web resources page

All the best, sue

What Sue says is right... You need to check up with your doctor and consult him on the matter. As far as I know, most high blood pressure medications do have certain side effects. You may get rid of this sexual dysfunction by using another drug, however the new drug may have other implications too. It's like you are running a on a spinning wheel.

To your health,

Alvin

Hello. I think that stress could be a major factor in high blood pressure. All you can do is maintain your good health and a good diet. Hope this could help. Thanks and have a nice day. :)

hi there! I think its always better to consult a physician and give you the right medications. Beside from that you also need to watch what you eat. Always choose dishes with low cholesterol..
