My 82 year old mother has suddenly developed high blood pressure. Previously her blood pressure had always been on the low side. She has had a nuclear stress test and was told her heart and renal arteries seem normal. She has severe oesteoparosis and has taken Forteo. She also had her thyroid gland removed and takes synthetic thyroid medication. Any ideas about the cause?
