Off to the Dr's first time since my heart attack in 2001

Hi,

     As I sit here writing this post my chest has pain and I really should get up and take a nitro, but the headache is almost unbearable.....Does anyone else get the headache ?

I had one heart attack in early summer 2001, I am female at the time I was 39 and kept telling my Doc that something didin't feel right.. He blew it off I should have been more persistant but live and learn. After my heart attack I just said to him "I told you so".

Well after all these year two weeks ago I woke up early in the moring around 6:38 am and had the worst chest pains I have had in years then I the breathing became harder, and yet I still stayed in bed and just layed there.. I think I have some sort of phobia that wass created by old school Doctors. Woman don't have heart attacks.  So I don't want to go to the hospital and have them say it was gas.

I also had a stroke that lasted less than 24 hrs last year, I have been on Nitro for a few weeks now  and have had some medication changes concerning my heart Isosorbide Mono and Aetenol, they seem to be working but I still get the tightness and the shortness of breath.

Does anyone know what it means to have scar tissue on the Inferior part of your heart and what  is a stent, I tried to look it up I think I might be spelling it wrong....oh yes one more thing I have prolapsed valves and a heart murmur...

Would love any feed back even if it does not pertain to my condition....
