My normal BP is around 135/78. I eat healthy and excercise regularly. I think stress may a contributor

to my sometimes high blood pressure. At least once every few days my blood pressure rises to 146/85.

My doctor said it is ok to take a blood pressure pill when it gets this high. I try not to take one on a regular basis since it always seems to go back down eventually. Does this sound like a safe way to approach high blood pressure? I am 50yrs old and have been suffering from borderline high blood pressure for about 8 years.
