Thanks so much for posting this information Steve. It's always good to have facts about lots of kinds of remedies/treatments available.

I might just add that its always important to check with your doctor before starting on any kind of new medicine - natural or otherwise.

I have tried natural remedies but they have not kept my b/p down and they are more expensive than my meds that the doctor prescribes to me. I lost my job because I had a Trans ischemic attack from high blood pressure and I get my prescriptions through my husbands job. I have tried many many b/p meds but I don't like their side affects. I have balance problems and feel weak, no strength which I don't know if the TIA causes this or the b/p meds.

I called the number that Steve gave for the alistrol but got nowhere.........nothing in return. I have since tried another natural herbal b/p pill called Mukta Vati and it has helped lower my diastolic pressure...........I still have to take meds but this one did help and I don't sell it or advertise for this pill, I just want to help others with b/p control.

I called and Alistrol never followed through on what you said on this post. I have since tried Mukta Vati and it has lowered my blood pressure somewhat. I still have to take some prescription medication but not as much as I did take. I would like to find a natural alternative that works for me without taking a prescription med or only taking one prescription med. Donna Dean

SEARCHING I FOUND ALISTROL VERY PROMISING, FROM INDIAN STANDARD SO EXPENSIVE , AROUND RS 5000 PER BOTTLE,THAT IS THE COST OF TOTAL MULTI MEDICATION IN A YEAR , THEN THERE ARE MANY POSITIVE REPORTS, BUT EVEN ONE IS MUCH DAMAGING BECAUSE IT CAN NOT BE FAKE , WHILE POSITIVES COULD BE FROM INTERESTED PARTIES .
