Happily Married Have Lower Blood Pressure

Suffering from high blood pressure, then you must get married. Yes, marriage has been proved to lower your blood pressure if you trust the study conducted by Brigham Young University professor Julianne Holt-Lunstad.

The study was performed on 204 married adults and 99 single adults revealed that happily married adults had four points lower on their blood pressure readings as compared to single adults with a strong social network. Dear sagacious - thanks for your post. 

 

This is very interesting indeed.  Does anyone know more about this study?  It seems her results will be published (Annals of Behavioral Medicine) so it might actually have some relevance.
