Low LDL Cholesterol May Signal Risk of Parkinson’s Disease

Everyone knows that the lower level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol is better for your heart. However, a recent study indicates that a low LDL count may increase the risk of developing Parkinson's disease.

 

This study was based on an analysis of 3,233 men of Japanese orgin. The researchers measured their Cholesterol levels from 1991 and 1993, before cholesterol-lowering statin drugs were available.
