My mother is about 78 years old and has had a couple of angioplasties and is a chronic patient of high BP. She is on constant medication for the last few years . Despite the large number of BP control medicines and varying doses and timmings , she has critically HIGH BP in the mornings , invariably upto 150 , 175 , 190 , and even upto 210!! The BP reduces by noon . Combinations and variations of medicines are having no effect. Can something be done???Please advise.
I've been dealing with the same thing, this morning my bp was 196/106 Ive just learned that I have obstructive sleep apna. Has she been checked for this? I didnt have a clue that I had it . They say most people don't know they have it and it can be very serious if not treated. Good luck
