I am just learning that I may have borderline high blood pressure and I am a big coffee drinker. Does anyone have any good info on the effects of coffee on your blood pressure?

I have been suspecious of the effect of coffee on my BP but was uncertain,
when ever I go to gym in the mornings, I would get tall or grande cofee from starbucks
and relax and workout, but when I tested my BP afterwards it will be like 145/90. I couldnt understand since I always thought that ex decreased BP. So one day I tested
my bp after i had my gym work out without a coffee and resulted 125/80 but later I had coffee and tested it, it came to 150/90. In summery, this may not be true for every one. It may be secondary to the fact that I may be prehypertensive. I am suprised that I dont see any good study about caffiene and BP. I guess I will not be drinking coffee with my gym work out or will have to try decaff.
