My 12 year old daughter was just seen in the hospital and after teh EKG they said that she had a low heart rate (65) and low blood pressure (87/45) and was missing the p wave in the EKG.  They did not give us any indication what could cause this.  She is a very physically active child.  She is in basketball and karate and worksout on a daily basis.  Could this be the reason her rates are so low?

I also have a missing P wave but I am very seldom active. When I am active I have chest pains. My heart rate is constantly in the 40-55 range. (I know, that's very slow) I am dealing with insurance issues and pre-existing condition clauses at the moment so I can not get this checked. If you find out anything I would appreciate an update. My email is scuba_steve_79@hotmail.com. If I do not hear from you by the time I find out what mine is, I will repost again. Thanks Stephen
