The first thing is you must continue to speak to your doctor about concerns or any questions you have. Being under the care of a trained medical professioanl is crucial to the successful maintenance of high blood pressure.
In the meantime, maybe reading some of our materials will help you to learn more about HBP and how it can impact your life. First, read the Basics of High Blood Pressure. It will help you to understand what hypertension is all about.
Then, you should also read The First 48 Hours. It discusses the what and why of this condition and specifically addresses the question of what those numbers mean.
