What is a normal blood pressure and pulse reading for a man in his early 30s?
The Joint National Committee defines four blood pressure categories. A normal blood pressure reading for an adult is as follows:
"Normal Range - Normal
Systolic (top) blood pressure below 120 mm Hg
Diastolic (bottom) blood pressure below 80 mm Hg"
If your blood pressure falls outside this range, you should both talk to your doctor and use this as motivation to make diet and lifestyle changes to lower your levels now.
As far as pulse rates are concerned, experts seem to agree that a pulse range of 60-100 is normal for adults.
