swollew legs, hard red spots from the knee down. edema or?

Cindy
11/05/09

I am fairly certain i have some type of edema. My ankles have swollen and are extremely sore. I have been working long hours standing for the past month and now that I am off my legs(the event i threw is over) they ballooned. I have been resting and recouping but i am very tired and sleeping long hours waking and then napping. From the knee down on my left leg there are red hard spots. My leg feels tight, if that makes sense. I have had some swelling after long hours before but never anything like this. What should I do? I am one of those irresponsible people the President spoke of, as I do not nor can afford health insurance. In fact after being laid off my second job my current job cut back my hours so I lost another 600 bucks in income and still had to put in 50 hours last week, for the same pay. This month also brought in stage four cancer for my step mom and found out my sister is dying. Yes I am stressed a tad but is it the stress long standing hours or what? I have never had Blood pressure issues but i am fat
