Q: High blood pressure and high resting pulse rate

recent exam showed blood pressure of 180/100 and resting pulse rate of 120, what more needs to be done I am already taking 150 mg. of metoprolol twice a day. 53 yr old female

For the past 30 years I have  been on a very healthy lifestyle diet.  I also have celiac sprue so other than not eating there is nothing in my diet to take out. That would contribute to the High blood pressuren. I don't smoke or drink.
