Q: is it a problem when dystolic pressure and pulse rate are the same?

Hi Galyn,

 

No, there is usually no reason for concern is your pulse and diastolic blood pressure are the same.  A good blood pressure reading is 115/70 and the average adult heart rate is 70 beats per minute.  However, if you are concerned, consult your physician.
