American Heart Association Recommendations are as follows:
Normal-Systolic: less than 120 and Diastolic: less than 80Prehypertension-Systolic: 120-139 or Diastolic: 80-89 High Blood PressureStage I-Systolic: 140-159 or Diastolic: 90-99 High Blood PressureStage II-Systolic: 160 or higher or Diastolic: 100 or higherHypertensive Crisis (Emergency Care Needed)-Systolic: Higher than 180 or Diastolic: Higher than 110.
You blood pressure is a concern and needs addressed by a physician. A lot of times elevated blood pressure doesn't have symptoms, that is why it is known as the "silent killer." Usually lightheadedness and dizziness is linked with hypotension. But I would discuss your symptoms with your doctor and see what he/she says.
