Blood Pressure is High

I have two abcessed teeth and was in a lot of pain and could not get into see a dentist as they were all closed Friday afternoon. When the nurse took my blood pressure it read 197/148. They said it was so high because I was in so much pain. Should I be concerned?

It is likely your elevated blood pressure was related to the pain; however, I recommend you continue to monitor your blood pressure and if it has not returned to normal contact your physician.
