Hi Ruby,

The Joint National Committee considers the following to be normal for blood pressure:

Normal Range
Systolic (top) blood pressure below 120 mm Hg
Diastolic (bottom) blood pressure below 80 mm Hg
Perfect!

A blood pressure less than 90/60 is considered low.  Here is a link to more information about low blood pressure - http://www.healthcentral.com/encyclopedia/408/74.html.

I recommend contacting his physician for an evaluation to determine the cause of the headaches and appropriate treatment.

All the best,

Lisa Nelson RD
