Brenda Howell, Thanks for your question. The answer to your question is: HCL stands for HydroChLoride. Most likely this is the generic formula name and HCL comes at the end. This means that the compound has hydrochloride as part of the formula. There are several drugs on the market that include HCL in their formulation. I hope this answered your question.
