Q: Is Low BP Bad Mine goes to as low as 86/48. My Dr said this was normal for me. I am in good health

There is so much info and medical websites for High blood Pressure. My BP is low. at times it could go down to as low as 86/49. Is this normal?. My cardiologist says its normal for me. I do not get dizzy, but sometimes I get alittle light-headed for no reason. I like to go on the thread mill and I do eat right. Should I be concerned and get another Dr's opinion? I also take Omega 3 for good heath  ,1 -1000mg a day. Is this hurting or affecting my BP?? Please respond. Thanks, Marie

You are fine.  Those who say everyone's BP should be 120/80 are liers and most likely

benefit from the drug industry in one way or the other.  People are different, their BP also is different.  BP changes during the day, BP even changes when you stand up from

laying down position. When you eat , your BP goes up. for example if your BP is 120/30

and you have dinner , it can go up to 130/90. then it will come back down again after an hour or so.

There is also nothing wrong with having a BP of 86/49 in AVERAGE. if your truly average BP is 86/49 roughly, then this is how your body is and good for you. feel good,

work out and eat healthy and stop worrying about these things.
