Hi Susan:

Did your physician increase your clonidine dose to two tabs? It is understandable that your blood pressure would lower with taking your increased dose. I recommend notifying your physician of blood pressure change and if you are having any symptoms associated with low blood pressure (i.e. lightheadedness, dizziness, feeling faint). He/She may want to adjust your dose. Also continue monitoring your blood pressure routinely.

If you took a higher dose without your doctor increasing your dose, you need to contact your physician's office and discuss your concerns. Do not make any changes to your prescribed medications without your doctor giving you the instructions to do so.

Take care,

Tara
