F.C.   Thanks for your question.  Without knowing more about your situation and what the symptoms are, it's difficult to accurately answer this question.  Many factors must be considered such as: medication; underlying medical conditions; nature of symptoms; timing of symptoms; and many others.    Assuming you have dizziness, one of the more common symptoms of low pulse rate, the simple thing to do is avoid exertion, a situation where your body demands a higher pulse rate.    You must make an appointment with your physician to look into this situation.  You must find the cause of your lower pulse rate, which could be medication, or might indicate another underlying problem.  Once determined, your physician will decide on an appropriate action to help remedy the situation.   Please view other areas of this website about High Blood Pressure, its treatment, medication and side effects.   Thanks again.   Martin Cane, M.D.
