Q: can Hyzaar 50/12.5 mg cause or increase problems with G.E.R.D. Thanks

can Hyzaar 50/12.5 mg cause or increase problems with G.E.R.D. I tried to change the time I take it from AM to PM and ended up with palpatations for a couple of days. think the palpatations were from changing pill time. Now I have GIRD. also taking Omeprazole now. Thanks Tony

Hi Tony,

Digestive issues are potential side effects of Hyzaar. I recommend discussing your symptoms with your physician to determine the appropriate time of day to take Hyzaar as well as the need to adjust the dosage and/or change medications.
