Q: After taking blood pressure lowering pills for two days my pressure is 96/59 and pulse is 118. help

Thanks for your question.  Your response to the medication is very dramatic.  This could indeed be from the medication, or some other problem has occurred to drop your pressure and raise your pulse.  In either case, this requires further evaluation.

 

I suggest you contact your physician for an appointment as soon as possible to confirm your blood pressure reading as well as being checked for other causes of the drop in pressure and elevation of the heart rate.
