Q: High Blood Pressure, Sinusitis & Migraine

My mother has severe hypertension but is generally controlled with multiple medications.  She has had a period of very high BP and after visiting her Cardio doc with little help had to take her to the ER.  They diagnosed sinus infection with migraine and that caused her BP to go up.  Once they administered a anti-nausea med w morphine her headache when away and BP went down but also her Heart Rate and Oxygenation so they admitted her for observation.  She is also taking antibiotics.  I don't know what to make of this.  Her BP seems to be under control now.  She is 70 years old with COPD, Diabetes, as well as Hypertension and High Cholesteral, and is somewhat obese.  All are being treated farily well w meds.  Any experience or information to help me understand.  Thanks.
