are sudden headaches a sign of blood pressure problems?
Carolyn,
Thanks for your posted question. Though headaches are a symptom of high blood pressure, they are also caused by several other problems. Most causes are not serious. Your doctor can help you sort out the possibilities after a history and physical examination that includes evaluation of your blood pressure. He may also request some testing to help ascertain a cause. Once the etiology is pinpointed, then treatment options can be discussed with you. So, make an appointment with you primary care physician soon. Also, review this website, especially the areas that deal with symptoms. Thanks again.
