Q: I have periodic spikes in my blood pressure. I just started a water fast; could that have an effect on my blood pressure?

Hi Tmhunarden,

 

Yes, a water fast can have a direct impact on blood pressure levels. Dehydration may cause low blood pressure. I recommend consulting your physician to determine if a water fast before continuing the water fast.
